About the Founder

Dr. Mohamed Labib Salem is a Professor of Immunology at the Faculty of Science, Tanta University, and Director of the Center of Excellence for Cancer Research at the University. He is considered one of the most prominent Egyptian scientists in the field of immunology and cancer, and his name has been included in the list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide according to Stanford University classification, thanks to his internationally published research .

Scientific Career

  • He received his B.Sc. in 1984, M.Sc. in 1989, and Ph.D. in 1995.
  • He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina in the USA from 2001 to 2010.
  • Chairman of the Scientific Culture Council at the Academy of Scientific Research.
  • Member of the Board of Directors of Zewail City of Science and Technology.
  • Founder of the Center of Excellence for Cancer Research at Tanta University.
